Self-catering cottage located in what is generally regarded as one of the most stunning locations within the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Situated at the foot of "Crackpot Moor" in the hamlet of Satron between the villages of Muker (2 miles) and Gunnerside (1 mile) at the head of Swaledale it has access to numerous walks (to suit all standards) and spectacular countryside.

Short drives allow visits to historic Richmond, whilst an awe-inspiring trip over the famous Buttertubs Pass allows you to enjoy the market town of Hawes in Wensleydale and various "All Creatures Great and Small" film locations. Aysgarth Falls, Hardraw Force and Bolton Abbey are all within easy reach - indeed all sites and recreational facilities within the National Park are reached by a short drive. To the north is the valley of Arkengarthdale with remains of ancient lead mining activity - at it's head you will find the famous Tan Hill Inn - the highest pub in England. Alternatively a leisurely walk by the river from the picturesque Ivelet Bridge takes you to genuine country pubs with real ale, home made food and welcoming log fires in winter.
